Snack Time
During each session we provide a healthy snack that might be crackers, breadsticks, toast or bread and butter with some fruit or vegetable pieces and a drink of milk or water. The children serve themselves from our snack bar and sit at a table with an adult close by. This is an important time for learning new skills and remembering manners. In addition, there is water freely available to children throughout their session. Please let us know if your child has any allergies.
Lunch
When a child attends an afternoon session, you provide a packed lunch for them to eat. Please try to include items to encourage healthy eating-carrot sticks, tomatoes, fruit pieces etc, we have a NO NUT policy and also please do not include fizzy drinks, glass bottles or sweets.
Fees
Our current fees are £5.00 per hour
Invoices will be raised every half term (six times a year) via email and will clearly identify both granted and billed sessions. Fees are payable at the end of each half term. All bills to be settled within one week of the date of the bill, please. Late payment will incur a charge of £2 per day. Late collection of children will incur a charge of £10 per 15 minutes.
Fees will be renewed annually and parents will be given notice of any changes.
Early Years Education Grant
The Government provides funding for 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per year starting from the full term after your child’s 3rd birthday. If your child also attends another setting, this funding can be split between both settings, but must not exceed a maximum of 15 hours per week. Additional hours will be charged at our current rate. Your requirements will be discussed with you. Government Funding forms can be obtained from a member of staff. These are to be filled in and returned promptly.
You may also be eligible for the 30 hours Government funding; the online checking service is available by visiting www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. If you are eligible, you will receive a code – this needs to be reconfirmed at the end of each term in preparation for the following term. It is your responsibility to ensure that the Preschool has your code before the deadline each term. Government Funding forms can be obtained from a member of staff. These are to be filled in and returned promptly.
